Tanzania Reshuffles Cabinet With New Ministers for Energy, Works and Legal Affairs
Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has announced cabinet changes affecting the Energy, Works and Constitutional and Legal Affairs ministries.
President Samia Suluhu Hassan appointed Juma Zuberi Homera as Tanzania’s new Minister of Energy as part of a broader cabinet reshuffle.
Homera previously served as Minister for Constitutional and Legal Affairs.
The Energy Ministry position had remained vacant after former minister Deogratius Ndejembi was appointed Vice President in August.
Former Tanzania Railways Corporation Director-General and Bariadi Rural MP Masanja Kungu Kadogosa was appointed Minister of Works.
Former Works Minister Abdallah Ulega was transferred to the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs.
The newly appointed ministers will take charge of major portfolios covering energy investment, transport infrastructure and ongoing legal reforms.
